Trout Lake Modern is a distinctive primary residence perfectly situated along the edge of John Hendry Park in East Vancouver.

 

This spacious new custom home was designed by Peter Rose Architecture Ltd. for an active urban family based in Vancouver, BC and built by Averra Developments.

This home boasts just under 3,500 square feet of living space throughout a basement, walk-up primary floor and second story.  It also has a large rooftop deck and double car garage.

The main level has an open concept dining room, kitchen and living room.  These open and inviting spaces then seamless extend to the back deck, outdoor living room, barbeque and onto the south facing lawn and gardens maintained by Living Spaces Landscaping.  In addition, a large personal office flooded with natural light plus a powder room are nestled on the main level floor plan.

A few luxurious features of the primary living space include:

• Bordignon Berzano polished marble fireplace surround of the 36” black porcelain gas fireplace installed by Blue Star Marble and Urban Fireplaces.

There is a powder room, cozy sitting area with library and linen closet too.  In addition, this level has the principal bedroom, a grand hers and his walk-in closet and spacious ensuite bathroom.

This homes’ basement gives this active family an oversized mudroom with ample built-in storage, an in-home theatre, workout gym, laundry room, live-in nanny bedroom and two bathrooms.

The Trout Lake neighbourhood is beautiful and offers ample community resources, yet it is important to note the bog that which covered this area prior to its development.  Our team paid special attention and used our previous experience to ensure areas of the project that needed extra support for long-term construction integrity used giant screw-piles with the help of Terracana Foundation Solutions.
