Averra Developments has recently completed Vancouver’s first Net Zero MURB (Multi-Unit Residential Building). It is an exceptional and unique stacked NetZero duplex residence in Vancouver’s Westside.
These two new homes both with spectacular ocean and mountain views stand out amongst others and add valuable gentle densification to this neighbourhood.
The rear unit is a 2,013 sf, 3-bedroom + 3 bathroom home with unbelievable views from its glorious upper level principle bedroom, ensuite, huge family room and deck.
The north residence is 1,248 sf and has 2-bedrooms + 2.5 bathrooms.
Both homes are Net Zero labeled and have luxury finishes, home automation, advanced heating and cooling systems, solar integration as well as their own garages.
Architectural designs have been produced by Regeneration Design Studios.
Prior to plans being submitted to the City of Vancouver (COV), we have worked closely with a team of skilled certified professional to ensure our permit submission meets all of the needs of the COV’s mandate to build greener homes and to ensure these residences meet all the requirement of the Canadian Home Builders Associations’ Net Zero Labeling program.
The floor plans have been designed to feel like a detached home with spacious rooms, ample natural light and effortless connectivity to the outdoors.
The exterior design presents a timeless aesthetic with its gable roof, while the overall appearance is minimal, modern and low maintenance.
As an experienced and qualified Net Zero builder, we will be applying enhanced building sciences to ensure these homes use innovative renewable energy systems to produce as much energy as they will consume for their heating and domestic hot water needs, as well as ensuring they are more than 80% more energy efficient than typical homes.
