Cedar Cottage | Traditional was 1950’s bungalow that our Averra Developments team had the opportunity to transform into a welcoming and efficient single-family home. Our clients property was perfectly situated in the heart of East Vancouver on a beautiful, quiet tree-lined street. They loved the convenience and charm of their well-established community looking elsewhere for a new home wasn’t a consideration and they chose to work with Averra Developments to completely re-build “new into old”. Our team completely gutted the interior of the basement and main floor and removed the roof. A steel frame was installed in the main floor ceiling to support a newly built second floor addition and roof. It’s exterior is a combination of cedar shakes and stucco. The interior of their re-built custom home was then redesigned to give its family everything they needed. “Everything is exactly where we want it and there are no bottlenecks, we love it!” says our happy homeowner.
