This project was constructed on a 30 x 120 lot in East Vancouver zoned RS-1.
City of Vancouver building by-laws allowed for approximately 2800 sq ft for new home living space for the primary residence and it also has lower mortgage helper rentable suite plus detached garage.
Architectural design by Michael Lu of Design Work Group, combined with the extensive interior design expertise Jamie Deck of Shift Interiors, brought this modern farmhouse to life. Initially inspired by the elegance of a modern French country home, this vision served as the foundation for an exceptional transitional design.
Jamie skillfully transformed this concept into a home that exudes sophistication and warmth, with soft monochromatic tones flowing seamlessly throughout the space. The interior features clean lines and symmetrical layouts that create a sense of balance, while distinct focal points draw attention to the luxurious quality of the finishes.
